| NSUI Mizoram leaders address a press conference in Aizawl, raising concern over repeated errors by the Mizoram Public Service Commission and demanding urgent reforms and corrective measures. |
Addressing a press conference at the Aizawl Press Club on Friday, NSUI leaders alleged that the MPSC had made at least one major error every month over the past one year and four months.
The student body stated that if such incidents continue, the people of Mizoram - especially youths, students and job seekers - may lose confidence in the commission, leading to frustration and disappointment among aspirants preparing for government jobs.
NSUI demanded that the MPSC thoroughly investigate the mistakes and take immediate corrective measures with transparency and accountability. The organisation also urged the commission to act swiftly to restore public confidence.

The student leaders further appealed to Lalduhoma to strengthen and reform the MPSC to ensure greater efficiency and credibility in the functioning of the commission.
The remarks come in the wake of recent controversy surrounding alleged errors in the results of the Junior Grade of MES (Combined Competitive) Examination 2025, for which the MPSC had earlier issued an apology.
