The project was developed by Mizo creative technology designer John Vanlalremruata Paite and his team using artificial intelligence to assist children who have difficulty speaking.

“My First Voice” uses AI technology to analyse short voice sounds produced by children who are unable to speak clearly. By combining artificial intelligence with human voice modelling, the system helps interpret and communicate the child’s intended speech from sound samples lasting about 30 seconds.
