Tripura CM Manik Saha Congratulates Suvendu Adhikari on Bengal Oath-Taking

Kolkata, May 9: Tripur CM Manik Saha on Friday congratulated Suvendu Adhikari on taking oath as the Chief Minister of West Bengal following the BJP’s historic victory in the state.

In a message shared on social media, Saha described the occasion as the culmination of the sacrifices and struggles of BJP workers in West Bengal.

“Today, the tears and sacrifices of countless BJP Karyakartas have found their voice. This isn’t just a win; it’s the culmination of a long, selfless struggle against all odds to protect the soul of Bengal,” he said.

The Tripura Chief Minister said the formation of a BJP government in West Bengal had made the vision of a “Double Engine Government” a reality under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Saha further stated that the new government marked the beginning of a “new dawn of peace and Sonar Bangla” and noted that the swearing-in coincided with the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.

He extended his best wishes to Suvendu Adhikari and the newly formed government in West Bengal.

The BJP formed the government in West Bengal after securing victory in the recent Assembly elections, marking the party’s first time in power in the state.
