Niuland, May 5: The Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, visited Niuland District and held interactions with representatives of various Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), highlighting the importance of community participation in governance and development.

During his visit, the Governor reviewed the functioning of the Medical and School Education departments in the district. He stressed the need to strengthen essential public services and ensure the effective implementation of welfare programmes at the grassroots level.

Appreciating the proactive role played by civil society groups, Yadav acknowledged their contribution to local development and urged continued collaboration between government agencies and community organisations for the overall progress of the district.
