The app offers a range of features including tracking sanitation trucks, checking waste collection schedules, door-to-door garbage pickup requests, and selling recyclable materials such as cardboard, metal, plastic, and e-waste. Users can also access waste management rules and regulations and lodge complaints through the platform.

Officials said the application will be available free of cost on iOS and Android throughout 2026, after which a nominal fee of ₹10 per month will be charged starting 2027. The system has already been implemented successfully in the Aibawk RD Block, though it is yet to be rolled out in the Aizawl Municipal area.

Speaking at the launch, Prof. Lalnilawma expressed optimism that the initiative would place Mizoram in step with global advancements in sanitation. He highlighted the concept of “Waste to Wealth,” emphasizing the potential of converting waste into valuable resources while saving time and energy.

The Minister further noted that, in line with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, plans are underway to collaborate with Village Councils (VCs) for improved waste processing outside Aizawl. He added that the app would play a key role in ensuring effective implementation of these measures.
