Addressing the gathering, Lalbiakzama expressed pride in witnessing the emergence of an advanced artificial intelligence platform developed by Mizo innovators. He said the launch reflected the increasing technological capabilities of local developers and demonstrated that Mizoram has the potential to contribute meaningfully to the country’s digital transformation.

The Speaker noted that artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming an integral part of daily life and has the capacity to simplify tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance access to information. According to him, AI-powered tools can help people save time, reduce unnecessary expenses, and obtain accurate information quickly, making them valuable resources for education, business, governance, and communication.

Lalbiakzama described the launch of an Agentic AI platform in Mizoram as a remarkable achievement and suggested that it could be among the first initiatives of its kind in India. He expressed hope that the technology would be widely adopted and would serve the needs of the people of Mizoram, particularly by making digital services more accessible through local language support.

According to the developers, LushAIGent has been designed with a special focus on users who are not fluent in English or Hindi. One of its key features is its ability to communicate effectively in the Mizo language, allowing users to interact naturally and receive responses in their preferred language. The developers said this would make the platform more accessible to people who may face language barriers when using conventional digital tools.

In addition to Mizo and English, the platform supports several major Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Telugu, among others. Altogether, the system currently integrates 12 languages, enabling broader communication and accessibility across different linguistic communities.

Another notable feature of LushAIGent is its support for voice-based interaction. Users can communicate with the platform through voice notes instead of typing, making it easier for individuals who may not be comfortable with text-based communication. The AI can process spoken input and generate responses efficiently, enhancing user convenience.

The platform also offers real-time translation capabilities. Messages received in one language can be instantly translated into the user’s preferred language, including Mizo. Developers believe this feature will help bridge communication gaps and facilitate smoother interactions between people from different linguistic backgrounds.

In addition, LushAIGent includes tools for improving written communication. It can refine grammar, enhance sentence structure, and assist users in producing clearer and more polished content in English and other supported languages. Such capabilities are expected to be useful for students, professionals, content creators, and businesses.

Developers said the platform represents an effort to make advanced AI technology more inclusive and relevant to local communities. By combining multilingual support, voice interaction, translation services, and writing assistance, the system aims to address practical communication needs while promoting digital inclusion.

The launch of LushAIGent marks another step in Mizoram’s expanding technology sector and highlights the growing interest in leveraging artificial intelligence for local development. Observers noted that the initiative showcases the innovation and technical talent emerging from the state and could encourage further investment in digital technologies.

With increasing demand for AI-powered solutions across various sectors, the introduction of LushAIGent is expected to contribute to broader efforts to make technology more accessible, user-friendly, and beneficial for people across Mizoram and beyond.
