New Delhi, May 3, 2026: Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, on Sunday inaugurated Arunachal Niwas at Dheerpur, describing it as a “home away from home” for citizens of the state visiting the national capital.

Inaugurated today, Arunachal Niwas in New Delhi reflects modern design, efficient planning, and a people-centric approach with well-appointed rooms, dormitories, essential services, and integrated amenities all under one roof.
According to Khandu, the facility is spread across 2,600 square metres of land with a total built-up area of 7,198 square metres. The building is constructed as a ground plus eight-storey structure with a basement (G+8).

The complex offers 59 well-appointed guest rooms, including twin, deluxe, and accessible rooms. In addition, the facility includes nine dormitories for guests and staff.
Arunachal Niwas also houses a medical room, offices, lounge and waiting areas, dining facilities, and a modern parking system, providing a range of services to visitors from Arunachal Pradesh.
The Chief Minister said the new facility aims to provide comfortable accommodation and essential support for people from the state who travel to New Delhi for official work, medical treatment, or other purposes.
