Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Congratulates NMTE 2025 Recruits, Lauds APSSB Efficiency

Itanagar, May 5, 2026: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday congratulated the successful candidates of the Non-Ministerial Technical Examination (NMTE) 2025, as 166 out of 183 selected applicants received their appointment orders and officially joined government service.

The appointment ceremony marked a significant milestone in the state’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its administrative and technical workforce with qualified and talented young professionals. The newly appointed candidates will serve in various government departments, contributing to public service delivery and the overall development of Arunachal Pradesh.

Speaking on the occasion, Khandu praised the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) for its exceptional performance in conducting the recruitment process. He commended the Board’s “record-breaking efficiency” in completing the entire selection exercise in just over seven months, from August 2025 to March 2026.

The Chief Minister described the achievement as a benchmark in administrative performance and highlighted the importance of transparent, merit-based, and timely recruitment in building public confidence in government institutions. He said the APSSB’s efficient handling of the examination and recruitment process reflects the state government's commitment to ensuring fairness, accountability, and professionalism in public service appointments.

Addressing the newly recruited personnel, Khandu urged them to carry out their responsibilities with honesty, integrity, and dedication. He reminded them that public service is not merely a job but a responsibility towards the people and the state.

“The future of Arunachal Pradesh rests in capable hands. As government employees, you have a vital role in shaping the development of our state and improving the lives of our citizens,” he said.

The Chief Minister also encouraged the recruits to uphold the values of transparency, discipline, and commitment throughout their careers and to strive for excellence in their respective fields.
