The new hostel is expected to substantially enhance the institution’s residential capacity and provide improved accommodation facilities for students, particularly those coming from remote and far-flung villages of Arunachal Pradesh. The facility has been designed to offer a safe, comfortable, and conducive environment for learning, helping students focus on their academic and personal development.
Addressing the gathering during the inauguration ceremony, Mein highlighted the remarkable journey of the Ramakrishna Mission School since its establishment in 1972. He noted that the institution has evolved into one of the most respected centres of value-based education in the state, producing students who have excelled in academics and various competitive fields.
The Deputy Chief Minister pointed out that several students from the institution have successfully cleared prestigious national-level examinations such as NEET and JEE, bringing recognition to both the school and Arunachal Pradesh. He attributed this success to the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and character-building.
Mein also praised the broader contributions of the Ramakrishna Mission in Arunachal Pradesh, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and social service. He commended the dedication of the monks and staff who have worked tirelessly over the decades to nurture young minds and contribute to the welfare of society.
“The Ramakrishna Mission has played a transformative role in shaping the lives of countless young people in Arunachal Pradesh. Its emphasis on education, moral values, and service to humanity continues to inspire generations,” he said.
