Itanagar, April 22: Arunachal Pradesh has achieved another milestone in public service and law enforcement with the induction of three distinguished police officers—James Kabang Lego, Dr. Irak Bagra, and Kirli Padu - into the prestigious Indian Police Service (IPS) under the AGMUT cadre.

Among the newly inducted officers, James Kabang Lego has earned recognition for his leadership and commitment to community-oriented policing. During his tenure as Superintendent of Police in Changlang and Lower Dibang Valley districts, he played a key role in strengthening police-public relations and spearheaded initiatives aimed at social development, including efforts to facilitate electrification in remote schools and villages.
Dr. Irak Bagra, known for his strong academic background and professional competence, brings a unique blend of intellectual expertise and administrative experience to the Indian Police Service. His induction is expected to further strengthen the representation of Arunachal Pradesh in the country's premier policing institution.
Meanwhile, Kirli Padu has distinguished himself through his operational achievements and service in challenging environments. He has been actively involved in anti-insurgency operations, particularly in Changlang district, where his dedication and commitment to maintaining law and order earned appreciation from both senior officials and local communities.
