Itanagar, April 22: Three officers from Arunachal Pradesh - James Kabang Lego, Dr. Irak Bagra and Kirli Padu have been inducted into the prestigious Indian Police Service (IPS), marking a proud moment for the state.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated the officers on their achievement and expressed hope that they would serve the nation with dedication, integrity and excellence.
James Kabang Lego, who earlier served as Superintendent of Police in Changlang and Lower Dibang Valley, is known for his leadership in community policing initiatives, including efforts to electrify remote schools. Dr. Irak Bagra brings strong academic expertise to the police service, while Kirli Padu has distinguished himself through operational work, including anti-insurgency operations in Changlang district.
