Addressing a press conference at the Aizawl Press Club, MPCC General Secretary Lallianchhunga claimed that serious legal violations occurred during the process of acquiring land near Lengpui Airport for the Indian Air Force.

He alleged that the land acquisition was facilitated through approvals given by Chief Minister Lalduhoma and Revenue Minister B. Lalchhanzova, allowing the Indian Air Force to purchase the land.

According to the MPCC leader, the government allegedly fast-tracked official files to enable the transaction, which reportedly resulted in ₹117 crore being transferred to Henry Lalremsanga of Hlawnmual.
