Imphal, April 14: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Tuesday reviewed the ongoing construction works at Imphal Railway Station during an on-site inspection.

The review was conducted in the presence of MLAs, the Chief Secretary, the Home Commissioner and other senior officials. During the visit, officials assessed the progress of the project through field inspection and presentations.
The Chief Minister noted that the overall progress of the project was satisfactory but directed concerned agencies to intensify the pace of work to ensure completion within the stipulated timeline.

He also instructed all implementing agencies to maintain strict quality standards and strengthen coordination for the timely execution of the project.
The government said the railway station project is a key infrastructure initiative that will improve connectivity and contribute to the socio-economic development of Manipur.
