Manipur CM Inaugurates Block Development Office at Wangjing Tentha

Thoubal, April 21: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed Block Development Office (BDO) at the Wangjing Tentha Community Development (CD) Block in Thoubal district, reaffirming the state government's commitment to strengthening grassroots governance and improving public service delivery.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Smt. A. Sharda Devi, Members of the Legislative Assembly, senior government officials, local leaders, and residents of the area. The event marked a significant milestone in the government's efforts to enhance administrative infrastructure and ensure that essential government services are more accessible to people at the grassroots level.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the establishment of the new Block Development Office reflects the government's vision of bringing governance closer to the people. Khemchand stated that the Wangjing Tentha CD Block has been witnessing steady growth, making it essential to strengthen its administrative framework.
