Thoubal, April 21: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Monday inaugurated the Block Development Office (BDO) at Wangjing Tentha Community Development Block in Thoubal district.

The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Smt. A. Sharda Devi and other Members of the Legislative Assembly.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the establishment of the new office marks an important step toward strengthening grassroots administration and promoting people-centric governance in the rapidly developing region.

He noted that the office would improve transparency, accountability, and administrative efficiency, ensuring better and timely delivery of government services to the public.
The state government, he added, remains committed to building a responsive and effective governance system aimed at the welfare and development of the people.
