Kohima: The Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, visited the Cathedral of Kohima, one of the most prominent landmarks in the state, acknowledging its role in shaping Nagaland’s social and cultural identity.

During the visit, the Governor paid tribute to the church’s contribution in promoting values of peace, compassion, education and service to society. He noted that institutions like the cathedral have played a significant role in fostering communal harmony and spiritual life in the state.
The Cathedral of Kohima, also known as Mary Help of Christians Church, is renowned for its distinctive architecture and serene surroundings. Apart from being a major place of worship, it stands as a symbol of faith and the rich heritage of the people of Nagaland.
