Nongstoin, April 15: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated a new PRIME Hub at Pyndenglawar in the West Khasi Hills District on Tuesday, aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and community-driven economic growth.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sangma said that PRIME Hubs have played a crucial role over the years in supporting women Self Help Groups (SHGs), farmers, entrepreneurs, and young people in pursuing and expanding their business ventures.
The Chief Minister noted that the new facility at Pyndenglawar, near Nongstoin, is designed to serve as a community resource centre where aspiring entrepreneurs can access training, mentorship, and support programmes.

He encouraged local residents to actively utilise the hub and its initiatives to grow their enterprises and contribute to the district’s economic development.
The PRIME initiative of the Meghalaya government aims to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-employment across the state, particularly among youth and rural communities.
