In a press note dated April 22, the organisation said the observations made by former Border Security Force officer P.K. Mishra highlighted the seriousness of the crisis and called for urgent attention from both the state and central governments.
The group alleged that foreign involvement, illegal immigration, and narcotics-related activities were contributing to instability in the state. It also raised concerns about poppy cultivation in hill areas and the alleged construction of illegal cross-border routes along the India–Myanmar border.
Arambai Tenggol further claimed that these issues posed a threat to national security and warned of possible escalation of violence if timely action is not taken.
The organisation called on the government to act firmly and lawfully to safeguard Manipur’s unity and integrity while ensuring justice and fairness for all communities.
