Tura, March 01: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma attended the Rite of Pontifical Holy Mass and Hymns at the Sacred Heart Shrine in Tura.

The solemn mass was presided over by His Excellency, the Most Rev. Leopoldo Girelli, Apostolic Nuncio to India and Ambassador of the Holy Father. The ceremony witnessed the participation of clergy members, church leaders, and faithful from across the region.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for being part of the spiritual gathering and prayed for continued guidance and strength for the Church in serving the faithful. He also wished that people may live their lives honouring God and upholding values of faith and service.
The event highlighted the significance of faith and unity within the Christian community in the region.
