Imphal, March 01: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand today flagged off the upgradation of the 18.50-km road stretch from NH-202 at Lamlai to Thoubal Dam under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) at Napet Palli.

The event was attended by MLAs, senior officials, and other dignitaries. The project aims to improve connectivity between Lamlai and Thoubal Dam, enhancing transportation infrastructure in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the initiative goes beyond road construction, highlighting its role in creating economic opportunities. He noted that better connectivity will enable farmers and traders to access larger markets, ensure safer and smoother travel for commuters, and improve access to education and healthcare services.
