61st KTP General Conference Being Held in Saitual, Draws Massive Youth Gathering

Saitual, March 01: The 61st General Conference of Kristian Thalai Pawl (KTP) - the Presbyterian Youth Fellowship under the Presbyterian Church of India, Mizoram Synod - is being held tonight at Saitual Public Playground, witnessing an overwhelming turnout.

This marks the fourth time Saitual is hosting the grand gathering, having previously hosted it in 1966, 1976 and 1992. Recognised as Mizoram’s largest religious conference, the event has drawn tens of thousands of youth delegates from across the state.

Organised by the Mizoram Presbyterian Kohhran, the conference has recorded over 47,000 registered delegates. The theme for this year’s gathering is “Pathian tana mi hlang” (Psalm 119:1-3).

Speaker Rev. PC Lalropuia delivered the message, encouraging young people to dedicate their lives to God and uphold strong spiritual values. The morning service witnessed an estimated attendance of around 59,000 people, while offerings collected amounted to ₹5,18,815.

The massive participation once again highlights the vibrant faith and unity of Mizoram’s youth, reaffirming the significance of the KTP General Conference as one of the state’s most important spiritual events.
