Namsai, February 13: Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein attended a Chaupal Beithak on VB-G RAM G and flagged off a Tractor Rally organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Namsai District Unit.

Addressing the gathering, Mein said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to grassroots empowerment and accelerated rural development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated that the programme aims to strengthen rural infrastructure, empower farmers, and ensure that governance benefits reach the last mile.
Highlighting rural transformation, the Deputy Chief Minister noted the growing role of Self-Help Groups in boosting livelihoods and said start-ups and innovation are opening new opportunities for youth in Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasised the need for transparency, proper documentation, and systematic monitoring at the Panchayat level to ensure effective implementation of government schemes.

Mein added that coordinated efforts, responsible financial management, and the use of technology would help ensure development funds are utilised efficiently and reach rightful beneficiaries on time.
The Tractor Rally conveyed a strong message of farmers’ empowerment and rural progress. Among those present were MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom, ZPC Namsai Chau Sujana Namchoom, ZPC Lohit Smt Basalu Dellang, party office bearers, karyakartas, and farmers of Namsai.
