Arunachal Athletes Win Bronze at Mt. Everest International Taekwondo Event

Itanagar, February 17: Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona has congratulated three senior Poomsae athletes from Arunachal Pradesh for securing bronze medals at the prestigious 2nd Mt. Everest CGI International Taekwondo Event 2026 held in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Khinsan Wangsu, Achum Sangha, and Radha Bangsia clinched bronze medals while competing against participants from nearly 20 countries, showcasing remarkable skill and determination on the international stage.

Lauding their achievement, Sona said their success has brought immense pride to Arunachal Pradesh and the nation. He wished the athletes continued excellence as they aim for greater heights in global Taekwondo competitions.
