In a social media post, the Chief Minister stated that on-ground inputs were taken from major hydropower developers, including NHPC, NEEPCO, and SJVN, as part of a broader consultation process.

According to Khandu, the discussions focused on understanding practical challenges faced during field-level implementation of rehabilitation and relief measures in hydropower project areas. He noted that insights shared by the companies, based on their operational experience, would help the state refine policies to make them more effective and responsive to the needs of affected communities.
