Aizawl, November 8, 2025: In a move aimed at expanding rural banking services and improving financial accessibility, the Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd. on November 7, 2025.
The agreement was signed by Pu A. Lallungmuana, Chief Executive Officer of Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank, and Shri Mohammed Azeez Udin, Principal Consultant of CSC’s Regional Office in Guwahati.
Under this MoU, Business Correspondents (BCs) operating under the Apex Bank will now be managed and supported through the CSC network, enabling the bank to reach a larger customer base, particularly in remote and rural areas.
This collaboration is expected to play a crucial role in extending the bank’s financial inclusion initiatives, enhancing digital banking services, and ensuring that people in far-flung villages have easier access to essential financial facilities.
Officials from both institutions described the MoU as a significant milestone that will strengthen the Apex Bank’s operational reach and improve service delivery across Mizoram.
