Sikkim: Soreng Police Rescue Three Missing Minor Boys Within Hours

Soreng, Sept. 16: Soreng District Police traced and rescued three missing minor boys from Tingrithang, Namchi, within hours of receiving an alert on Tuesday.

The Naya Bazar Police Station team swung into action after Namchi Police informed them about the missing boys. Field personnel were immediately alerted, and lookout operations were intensified across the area.

Police personnel posted at the Ramam Check Post intercepted the minors as they attempted to cross the inter-state border on foot. All three, Class X students of Pabong Secondary School, had reportedly left their homes in search of employment.

After being rescued, the boys were counselled and safely handed over to their families, with due intimation given to Namchi Police.

The parents expressed relief and gratitude to the Naya Bazar Police team, praising their swift action, professionalism, and dedication.
