The new office complex is expected to facilitate better planning, monitoring and execution of hydropower projects in the Subansiri Basin, one of the state’s most important regions for renewable energy development. Officials said the facility would enhance coordination among departments and contribute to the efficient implementation of hydropower initiatives.

Later, at the District Secretariat in Ziro, Khandu laid the foundation stones for several new projects under the Cabinet Aapke Dwar programme. These projects include the upgradation of the District Headquarters Township Road, construction of a new Circuit House, development of an Artificial Grass Turf at PL Outdoor Stadium in Hapoli, establishment of a Multi-purpose Convention Hall at Abotani Club, creation of a Multi-layer Parking Zone at Hapoli, and construction of residential accommodations for government officers and staff.

The Chief Minister emphasized that these projects are part of a broader vision to modernize infrastructure, improve public amenities and support the growing needs of the district.
