Pema Khandu Felicitates 140 Successful APPSCCE 2024 Candidates, Urges Them to Serve with Empathy

Itanagar, September 10, 2025: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday felicitated 140 successful candidates of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) 2024 at a special ceremony held in Itanagar. The event marked the formal handing over of appointment letters to the newly recruited officers, who are set to join various departments of the state government.

Describing the occasion as a “momentous” milestone in the lives of the successful candidates, the Chief Minister congratulated them for their hard-earned achievement and welcomed them into the state’s administrative system. He noted that clearing one of the most competitive examinations in the state was a testament to their dedication, perseverance and determination.

Addressing the gathering, Khandu reminded the young officers that public service is not merely a profession but a noble responsibility. He urged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability and professionalism in their careers.

“Remember, we are here to serve, not to rule. Our duty is to uplift communities, solve problems, and lead with empathy. The trust placed in us by the people must always guide our actions,” the Chief Minister said.

Khandu emphasized that the role of a public servant extends beyond implementing government policies. He encouraged the officers to remain accessible to the public, listen attentively to the concerns of citizens and work tirelessly to improve the lives of people, especially those living in remote and underserved areas.

The Chief Minister also praised the successful candidates for their relentless efforts in preparing for the examination. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by their families and supporters, stating that their success was the result of years of hard work, discipline and unwavering commitment.
