Manipur’s Koijam Machasana Conferred National Teachers’ Award 2025 by President Murmu

NEW DELHI, September 5, 2025: President of India, Droupadi Murmu, today honoured 45 outstanding educators from across the country with the prestigious National Teachers’ Awards 2025 at a ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan. The awards recognise exceptional dedication and innovation in the field of education.

Among the awardees was Ms. Koijam Machasana, an Arts Graduate Teacher from Ghari Upper Primary School, Manipur. Hailing from Keisampat in Imphal, she has been lauded for her commitment to student-centric learning and her contribution to strengthening foundational education.

Ms. Machasana had earlier received the State Level Teachers’ Award in 2023, and her latest recognition marks a proud moment for Manipur.
