Tripura Teacher Bidisha Majumdar Selected for National Teachers’ Award 2025

Agartala, August 25: Smt. Bidisha Majumdar, a teacher of Hariananda English Medium Higher Secondary School in Gomati district, Tripura, has been selected for the prestigious National Teachers’ Award 2025 by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha congratulated Majumdar on the achievement, describing it as a proud moment for the state’s education fraternity. “This remarkable achievement will surely inspire both students and teachers, encouraging them to pursue excellence in the field of education,” the Chief Minister said in a message.
