Itanagar, August 26: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu recently met with Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., along with HMLA Shri Phurpa Tsering and Shri Lhakpa, a noted figure in motor sports.
The meeting highlighted JK Tyre’s longstanding support in promoting adventure motor sports in Arunachal Pradesh, a partnership of many years that the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for. JK Tyre’s involvement has been instrumental in fostering the growth of motor sports in the state.

Given Arunachal Pradesh’s status as the largest state in the Northeast, discussions also extended to exploring opportunities for rubber plantation development in the region. Strengthening the rubber sector is seen as a promising avenue for economic growth and sustainable agriculture in the area.
The meeting signals continued collaboration between the government and industry leaders to boost sports, agriculture, and regional development in Arunachal Pradesh.
