Kohima, August 12, 2025: Nagaland’s startup ecosystem marked a significant milestone with the successful conclusion of a three-day program aimed at fostering connections between entrepreneurs, mentors, and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs).
Organized by Startup Nagaland under the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland, the event concluded today at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, with the state’s first-ever HNIs Awareness Session. The program provided a platform for local startups to engage with potential investors, gain mentorship, and explore funding opportunities.

Officials highlighted that this initiative is expected to open new avenues for entrepreneurship in Nagaland by strengthening ties between innovators and the investment community. The awareness session also aimed to educate HNIs about the potential of supporting emerging businesses in the state, fostering economic growth and job creation.
