Kohima, August 7, 2025: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kohima District unit held an important coordination meeting with its office bearers to discuss organizational matters, strengthen internal coordination and finalize preparations for a roster visit to the BJP Nagaland State Headquarters.

During the session, State Social Media Representative Chumseli A highlighted the growing significance of digital communication in modern politics. He stressed the need for party workers to make effective use of social media platforms to engage with the public, disseminate information and communicate government policies and party programmes more efficiently.

He noted that social media has emerged as a powerful tool for political outreach, allowing organizations to connect with people across different age groups and regions in real time. Party members were encouraged to strengthen their digital presence and utilize online platforms responsibly to promote constructive dialogue and public engagement.

The meeting also reviewed ongoing outreach activities and discussed ways to expand the party's connect with citizens. Leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining regular interaction with communities, listening to public concerns and ensuring that grassroots voices are reflected in organizational activities.

Participants reiterated the party's commitment to strengthening its organizational structure and building a responsive network of workers capable of effectively serving the people. The discussions underscored the importance of unity, discipline and teamwork in achieving the party's objectives.
