The award celebrates the terminal’s unique design, which draws deep inspiration from Northeast India's rich biodiversity and cultural heritage. The architectural marvel reflects the resilience of bamboo and the elegance of foxtail orchids, paying homage to the region’s natural beauty and traditional craftsmanship.
