The award celebrates the terminal’s unique design, which draws deep inspiration from Northeast India's rich biodiversity and cultural heritage. The architectural marvel reflects the resilience of bamboo and the elegance of foxtail orchids, paying homage to the region’s natural beauty and traditional craftsmanship.
Built with a focus on sustainability and aesthetic harmony, the terminal has been hailed as a symbol of Assam’s welcoming spirit and a gateway to the Northeast.
