The terminal's architecture reflects the resilience and versatility of bamboo, one of the Northeast's most iconic natural resources, while incorporating design elements inspired by the graceful foxtail orchid, a flower closely associated with the region's natural beauty. These features have been seamlessly blended with contemporary engineering to create a modern passenger terminal that celebrates Assam's cultural identity while offering world-class travel facilities.
Developed with sustainability at its core, Terminal 2 incorporates environmentally conscious design principles, energy-efficient systems, and spacious passenger-friendly interiors.
