Mairang, August 12, 2025: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma today announced that over ₹2,500 crore has been sanctioned for strengthening administrative infrastructure across the state, aiming to enhance governance mechanisms and bring administration closer to the people.
Marking another milestone in this mission, the new Block Integrated Development Complex of the Mairang C&RD Block was inaugurated by Bah Marborsing Marbaniang, a respected community leader. The Chief Minister said the inauguration reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to upgrade all Block Offices in Meghalaya.

“It is only fitting that changemakers and respected role models from the community lead such significant milestones,” Sangma said, adding that Bah Marborsing’s presence symbolises a shared commitment to people-centric governance and inclusive development.
The upgraded facility is expected to improve service delivery, administrative efficiency, and accessibility for residents of the region.
