Jiribam, August 12, 2025: In a vibrant display of unity and national pride, Jiribam came alive with a series of events under the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign.
Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar, IAS, flagged off a Tiranga Bike Rally from Irawat Square, where 120 riders from the CRPF, District Administration, and various departments carried the message of patriotism across the district. The celebrations continued with a spirited Tiranga March by students from Jiri College and Jiribam Higher Secondary School.

The District Administration, Police, Municipal Council, and multiple departments, led by the DC, also undertook a cleanliness drive at Jiribam Higher Secondary Ground to ensure a clean and welcoming venue for the upcoming Independence Day festivities.
In addition, a district-level Narcotics Coordination (NCORD) Committee meeting reviewed security arrangements ahead of the celebrations. The day concluded with a Full-Dress Rehearsal featuring 12 marching contingents, including CRPF, IRB, Police, NCC, school and college units, and the Assam Rifles Band.
