Tura, August 29, 2025: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today inaugurated the A·chik Welfare Society’s Civil Service Coaching & Training Center in Tura, a pivotal step towards empowering the region’s youth to pursue civil services with confidence and preparation.
Addressing aspiring civil servants, CM Sangma urged them to have unwavering faith in themselves, emphasizing that success is shaped not by one's background but by belief, discipline, and smart preparation. Drawing on his own experiences managing pressure, he highlighted the importance of effective strategies and staying rooted in one’s purpose.
The center has already attracted over 100 keen aspirants, with Sangma expressing confidence that it will become a beacon of hope and a nurturing ground for future leaders from the A·chik community and beyond.
