Ziro, August 16, 2025: Blue Pine Residential English School, Ziro, has added another feather to its cap after emerging victorious in the Battle of Minds 2.0 Zone 3 competition, a prestigious academic contest aimed at nurturing critical thinking and intellectual excellence among students across Arunachal Pradesh.
Representing the school, students Nani Nappi and Hibu Kaku showcased exceptional knowledge, quick decision-making abilities and teamwork to secure the winners’ title in a highly competitive field. Their impressive performance earned widespread appreciation from judges, teachers and spectators present at the event.
The grand finale was held at St. Claret’s Cultural Hall in Ziro and witnessed enthusiastic participation from several leading educational institutions of the region. Competing schools included Hill Queen Education Institute, Government Higher Secondary School Hija, Midland Education Centre, DKGHSS Hapoli and Frontier School. Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated remarkable academic aptitude, creativity and confidence, making the event a vibrant celebration of young talent and learning.
Organised under the Department of Youth Affairs, the Battle of Minds initiative seeks to encourage students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, communication skills and self-confidence. The programme has gained popularity across the state as a platform for students to test their knowledge while engaging in healthy academic competition.
The Zone 3 edition drew significant interest from students, educators and parents, highlighting the growing emphasis on academic excellence and intellectual development in the region. Participants were challenged through a series of rounds that tested their general knowledge, reasoning skills, current affairs awareness and ability to think under pressure.
