Kohima, August 29, 2025: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland has extended its warm congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed office bearers of the BJP Minority Morcha, Nagaland, expressing confidence that the team will strengthen the party’s commitment to inclusive development and community empowerment across the state.
The new Minority Morcha team, constituted for the 2025–2028 tenure, will be led by Shri Ankit Jain as President. The appointments were made in consultation with BJP Nagaland State President Shri Benjamin Yepthomi, who emphasized the importance of the Morcha in ensuring greater participation and representation of minority communities within the party framework.

The newly appointed leadership includes six Vice Presidents - Shri Rajesh Sethi, Shri Juel Acharjee, Md. Fuzail Ahmed, Shri Prakash Chettri, Shri Bipin Kashliwal and Shri Sandeep Bakliwal. Shri Rakesh Kochar and Shri Ranabir Sarkar have been entrusted with the responsibilities of General Secretaries.
Several members have also been inducted as Secretaries, including Smt. Mamta Karir, Smt. Madhusmita Dutta, Smt. Purnima Das, Shri Aryan Kar Purkayastha, Shri Shubham Singh and Shri Probir Kumar Roy. Shri Surendra Rathore has been appointed Treasurer, while Shri Vikash Sharma will serve as Joint Treasurer.
Other key appointments include Kumari Moina Roy as Office Secretary, Shri Anand Sethi as Convenor of the Legal Cell, Shri Jitendra Pareek as Social Media Convenor, Smt. Papiya Paul as Co-convenor for Social Media, Shri Uday Kumar Sah as Print Media Convenor and Shri Jitu Alani as Co-convenor for Print Media.
BJP Nagaland stated that under the leadership of Benjamin Yepthomi, the new team is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the party’s vision of development, unity and social harmony. The party expressed confidence that the Minority Morcha will further strengthen outreach efforts, promote equal opportunities and amplify the voices of minority communities across Nagaland.
This fresh team is expected to spearhead initiatives aligned with BJP’s vision of development, unity, and social harmony in the diverse society of Nagaland.
