Mairang, Aug 12, 2025: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma inspected and inaugurated the 26-bedded Sick Newborn Care Unit (SNCU), Paediatric ICU, Adult ICU, and High Dependency Unit (HDU) at the Tirot Sing Memorial Hospital, Mairang.
He stated that the Government has invested over ₹300 crores in strengthening the health sector, focusing on upgrading infrastructure to ensure accessible and quality healthcare for all.

These facilities mark a significant milestone for the hospital, enabling it to provide much-needed intensive care services locally, which earlier required residents to travel to urban centers. With these upgrades, the hospital is now better equipped to serve the community.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his government’s commitment to improving healthcare services and infrastructure for the benefit of all patients.
