Sharing his experience on social media, Khandu said he was delighted to meet the association members and praised their dedication towards nurturing young sporting talent.

He also tried his hand at badminton in the newly inaugurated Bhalukpong facility, describing it as a “fantastic facility” for players and sports enthusiasts. After the inauguration ceremony, Khandu joined MLA Tenzin Nyima Glow and local residents for an interactive discussion on future development plans for the Thrizino-Buragaon constituency.

MLA Tenzin Nyima Glow thanked the Chief Minister for his continued support and developmental initiatives in the constituency. He said that under Khandu’s leadership, the region has witnessed substantial progress in infrastructure, education and public services, and expressed optimism that more projects would be implemented in the coming years.

Representatives of the Greater Kameng Badminton Association, including President Er. Aju Khonjuju and General Secretary Dr. Rinchin Neema, welcomed the inauguration of the new sports facilities. They stressed the importance of establishing quality badminton infrastructure in every district and circle headquarters to encourage greater participation in sports and identify promising talent at the grassroots level.

The newly inaugurated projects are expected to enhance public services, improve educational facilities, strengthen sports development and contribute to the overall socio-economic growth of the region, further supporting Arunachal Pradesh's vision of inclusive and sustainable development.
