Gangtok, May 14, 2026: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay attended the closing ceremony of the Sikkim Revival and Healing Festival 2026 at Paljor Stadium in Gangtok on Wednesday evening, describing the event as a powerful reflection of unity, harmony, and spiritual awakening among the people of the state.
The three-day Christian revival programme was organised under the aegis of the Sikkim Pentecostal Church Council and brought together churches, pastors, and believers from across Sikkim. Held from May 11 to May 13, the festival featured worship services, prayer meetings, revival sessions, and inspirational messages led by Christian leaders, drawing large congregations from different districts.
During the programme, Chief Minister Tamang extended a warm welcome to Apostle Ankit Sajwan, Founder of Ankit Sajwan Ministries and Senior Pastor of Family of Lord Jesus Church, along with Pastor Monika Sajwan, who led the revival meetings throughout the festival.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the concepts of revival and healing go beyond religious observance and represent spiritual renewal, inner strength, and restoration. He explained that while physical health remains important, spiritual well-being is equally essential in helping individuals lead peaceful, meaningful, and balanced lives.

Tamang encouraged people to remain rooted in faith, compassion, and positive values, stating that spiritual healing brings peace of mind, hope, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. Highlighting Sikkim's tradition of communal harmony, the Chief Minister said the festival reflected the state's enduring spirit of unity in diversity. He prayed for lasting peace, wisdom, good health, and prosperity for all citizens and wished for continued harmony among the people of the state.
Videos and online updates from the event showed thousands of worshippers participating in praise and worship sessions, sermons, and prayers led by Apostle Ankit Sajwan and his ministry team over the three-day programme.
The Sikkim Revival and Healing Festival 2026 concluded with special prayers for peace, healing, unity, and the well-being of the people of Sikkim, leaving participants with a renewed sense of faith and hope.
