Sikkim CM Attends Closing Ceremony of Revival and Healing Festival 2026 at Paljor Stadium

Gangtok, May 14, 2026: Prem Singh Tamang attended the closing ceremony of the Sikkim Revival and Healing Festival 2026 held at Paljor Stadium in Gangtok on Wednesday evening, describing the gathering as a reflection of unity, harmony and spiritual awakening in the state.

The three-day Christian revival programme was organised under the aegis of the Sikkim Pentecostal Church Council with participation from churches and believers from different parts of Sikkim. The event was held from May 11 to May 13 at Paljor Stadium and featured prayer sessions, worship programmes and revival meetings led by Christian leaders. 

During the programme, the Chief Minister welcomed Apostle Ankit Sajwan, Founder of Ankit Sajwan Ministries and Senior Pastor of Family of Lord Jesus Church, along with Pastor Monika Sajwan.

Addressing the gathering, Tamang said revival signifies spiritual awakening while healing represents restoration, stressing the importance of nurturing spiritual well-being alongside physical health. He said spiritual healing brings peace, strength and true well-being and encouraged people to remain rooted in faith and positive values.

The Chief Minister further said the gathering showcased the spirit of togetherness among communities in Sikkim and prayed for peace, wisdom, good health and strength for all citizens.

Videos and online updates from the event showed large crowds attending the festival, with worship sessions and sermons conducted by Apostle Ankit Sajwan and his ministry team during the three-day programme. 

The Sikkim Revival and Healing Festival 2026 concluded on Wednesday evening with prayers for peace, healing and unity across the state.
