Dimapur, April 28: Emphasising the importance of cadre development and organisational discipline, Hemant Goswami, National Toli Member (Operations & Data) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), addressed the State Planning Meeting of the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026 held at Grand Maspel Hotel in Walford, Dimapur.

The meeting brought together senior party leaders, office bearers, and functionaries from across Nagaland to discuss strategies for strengthening the party organisation and effectively implementing the nationwide training programme at various levels.
Among those present at the meeting was BJP Nagaland State President Benjamin Yepthomi, along with district leaders and party workers representing different parts of the state.
Addressing the gathering, Goswami stressed that a strong organisation is built on systematic training, disciplined planning, and dedicated grassroots workers. He highlighted the importance of the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, describing it as a vital initiative aimed at equipping party workers with the knowledge, skills, and understanding necessary to effectively serve the people and strengthen the organisation.
He underscored the need to focus on district-level training objectives and called for empowering karyakartas through education, strategy, and unity. According to Goswami, well-trained and informed workers are essential for ensuring organisational efficiency and effective implementation of party programmes at the grassroots level.
Goswami also noted that active participation in the training campaign helps deepen the understanding of organisational structures, including the functioning of mandal and district units. He urged party leaders and workers to approach the programme with sincerity, dedication, and careful planning to ensure its success throughout the state.
Referring to the ideological principles of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Goswami reiterated the vision of Antyodaya, which focuses on the upliftment and welfare of the last person in society. He encouraged party workers to remain committed to this philosophy and work collectively towards inclusive development and social progress.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP Nagaland State President Benjamin Yepthomi called upon party workers to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, sincerity, and discipline. He said the Prashikshan Mahabhiyan is designed to strengthen the organisational foundation of the party while nurturing capable and committed cadres who can effectively engage with people at the grassroots level.
Yepthomi further emphasized that strong organisational structures and trained workers are crucial for connecting with communities, understanding public concerns, and contributing to the overall development of society.
The meeting concluded with discussions on future training schedules and organisational strategies, with party leaders expressing confidence that the Mahabhiyan would help build a stronger, more efficient, and service-oriented organisation across Nagaland.
