Gangtok, April 23: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay conducted a comprehensive inspection of key venues and reviewed preparations ahead of the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by state ministers, MLAs, the Chief Secretary, the Director General of Police, secretaries of various departments, political secretaries, and other concerned officials during the review.
According to officials, the inspection focused on assessing the overall preparedness at designated venues where the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend programmes.

During the visit, Tamang issued detailed instructions to the concerned departments to ensure that all arrangements are completed in a timely and efficient manner. He emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of security, coordination, and logistical readiness.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to ensure smooth conduct of all scheduled events during the Prime Minister’s visit, highlighting the need for close coordination among departments to ensure the success of the programme.
