Manipur CM Meets BSF ADG, Reviews Situation Along Indo–Myanmar Border

Imphal, April 21: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand met Puneet Rastogi, IPS, Additional Director General (HQ) of the Border Security Force (BSF), at the Secretariat in Imphal on Monday to review the evolving situation along the Indo–Myanmar border.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the need for a coordinated and proactive response to address security challenges along the international border.

The Chief Minister acknowledged the crucial role played by the Border Security Force in strengthening border management and supporting the maintenance of internal law and order in the region.

He also reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ensuring that the force is equipped with the necessary resources and capabilities to effectively carry out its responsibilities.

The Manipur government reiterated its support for the BSF in its mission to safeguard the country’s borders and maintain security and stability in the region.
