The launch programme was attended by the Secretary (Information Technology), senior government officials, and representatives from various departments. The new digital platforms have been introduced as part of the State Government's efforts to enhance transparency, efficiency, accountability, and citizen-centric governance through the use of modern technology.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the E-Seva and RTI portals would simplify the process of accessing government services and obtaining information from public authorities. By enabling online applications and digital service delivery, the platforms are expected to reduce the need for repeated visits to government offices, minimise delays, and make public services more accessible and convenient for citizens across Manipur.
Khemchand Singh noted that the RTI Portal would facilitate easier filing and tracking of applications under the Right to Information Act, thereby strengthening transparency and promoting greater accountability in government functioning. He added that the portal would empower citizens by providing a more efficient mechanism to seek information from public authorities.
The Chief Minister further stated that the initiative is in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the objectives of the Digital India programme, which seeks to transform governance through technology, improve public service delivery, and promote digital inclusion across the country.

They expressed confidence that the new platforms would improve service delivery, strengthen transparency, and make government more accessible to people in both urban and rural areas of Manipur.
The launch marks another milestone in the state's efforts to embrace e-governance and create a more efficient, accountable, and citizen-friendly administrative system through digital innovation.
