Imphal, April 16: CM Yumnam Khemchand on Wednesday launched the E-Seva and RTI portals at the state Secretariat, marking a significant step toward strengthening digital governance in Manipur.

The launch event was attended by the Secretary (IT) and other senior officials. According to the Chief Minister, the initiative aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric service delivery through the use of digital platforms.

Speaking at the programme, Singh said the new portals will make it easier for citizens to access government services and obtain information under the Right to Information framework, thereby reducing public inconvenience.

He added that the initiative aligns with the vision of Narendra Modi and the national Digital India programme, which seeks to promote technology-driven governance across the country.

The Chief Minister said the introduction of these portals reflects the state government’s commitment to improving transparency and strengthening public service delivery through digital solutions.
