Imphal, April 16: Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur, on Wednesday met the family members and representatives of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) related to the Tronglaobi incident at his official bungalow, expressing solidarity with the bereaved families.
The meeting was attended by K. Govindas Konthoujam, Home Minister of Manipur, along with several Members of the Legislative Assembly.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister said he shared in the profound grief, shock and trauma experienced by the families following the tragic incident. He extended his heartfelt condolences and assured them that the state government stands firmly with the affected families during this difficult time.

Khemchand said the investigation into the incident is progressing with utmost seriousness and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring justice at the earliest. He assured that once the perpetrators are identified, strict action will be taken in accordance with the law.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that due process of law will be followed and that those responsible for the incident will be held accountable.
