Manipur CM Chairs Unified Command Meeting to Review Security Situation

Imphal, April 8: Yumnam Khemchand Singh chaired a Combined Headquarters Security (Unified Command) Meeting at the Manipur Secretariat to review the prevailing law and order situation in the state.

The meeting was attended by Konthoujam Govindas Singh, the Chief Secretary, Security Adviser, Director General of Police, and senior officials from major security forces including the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Sashastra Seema Bal.

During the meeting, officials conducted a comprehensive review of the current security situation and discussed various measures to address emerging challenges while ensuring public safety.

According to the Chief Minister, the discussions focused on implementing measures within constitutional provisions to restore and maintain peace, stability, and law and order across the state.

Khemchand Singh reiterated that the government remains committed to taking all necessary steps to safeguard the lives and interests of citizens and to strengthen the overall security framework in Manipur.
