Ukhrul, April 17: Yumnam Khemchand received a warm welcome from residents of Thowai Kuki Village while en route to Ukhrul District headquarters along with MLAs and government officials.
A large gathering of villagers welcomed the visiting team, reflecting the community’s aspirations for development and improved public services. During the interaction, residents raised concerns regarding road connectivity, water supply, and healthcare facilities in the area.

Responding to the issues, Khemchand assured the villagers that the government would address the concerns on priority. He reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that essential services reach every village and that development initiatives improve the ease of living for citizens.
