Shillong, April 11: Conrad K. Sangma on Saturday felicitated 41 meritorious students from various Child Care Institutions under the Social Welfare Department during a special breakfast interaction.

The Chief Minister congratulated the students for their academic achievements and acknowledged their determination and hard work despite challenging circumstances. As part of the recognition, the students were presented with cash awards.
Announcing additional support, Sangma said that the Chief Minister’s Secretariat would also assist the students in pursuing their high school education, ensuring continued academic opportunities for them.
“These children are an inspiration to us. Circumstances do not define where we go, but should motivate us to chase our dreams,” Sangma said, wishing the students success in their future endeavors.
The initiative aims to encourage children from institutional care to continue their education and strive for excellence.
