The programme was held at the Tourist Lodge, Pfutsero, where party leaders, office-bearers, and grassroots karyakartas from the three mandals gathered to participate in a series of training sessions designed to build a stronger and more effective party organisation.
During the programme, resource persons briefed participants on the history, ideology, and core values of the Bharatiya Janata Party, highlighting the principles of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's philosophy of Integral Humanism and the importance of dedicated public service. Sessions also focused on organisational discipline, leadership development, and strategies for strengthening the party's outreach at the grassroots level.
Participants were also familiarised with various flagship welfare schemes of the Central Government and were encouraged to actively engage with local communities to ensure greater awareness and effective implementation of these programmes. The training stressed the importance of maintaining regular contact with the public, understanding local issues, and addressing people's concerns through responsive and service-oriented politics.
A key feature of the programme was the introduction of modern digital tools aimed at improving organisational efficiency. Workers received hands-on guidance on the use of the NaMo App, SARAL App, and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance communication, data management, volunteer coordination, and public outreach.
Party leaders stated that the initiative is intended to empower grassroots workers with the knowledge, organisational skills, and technological capabilities needed to effectively serve the people while strengthening the BJP's presence across Nagaland.
The training programme forms part of the BJP's nationwide Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, an organisational campaign aimed at developing informed, disciplined, and technology-enabled party workers capable of contributing to good governance, public service, and the long-term socio-economic development of the state.
