Itanagar, April 27: Arunachal Pradesh has another reason to celebrate academic excellence as Bamin Lure, son of late Bamin Chada, achieved an outstanding feat by securing All India Rank (AIR) 4 in the Open Category and Rank 1 in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category in the entrance examination for the prestigious Master of Design (M.Des) programme at the National Institute of Design (NID).

The achievement has brought pride to the state and highlighted the growing presence of talented students from Arunachal Pradesh in nationally competitive academic and creative fields.
The National Institute of Design is widely regarded as one of India’s premier design institutions and is internationally recognized for its excellence in design education. Its Master of Design programme is highly competitive and attracts thousands of aspirants from across the country every year. Congratulating Lure on his remarkable accomplishment, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu described the achievement as a proud moment for the state. In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister praised the young achiever for his dedication, hard work, and determination, noting that his success reflects the immense potential of Arunachal Pradesh’s youth.
Khandu said that Bamin Lure’s achievement demonstrates how students from the state are increasingly making their mark on national platforms, not only in traditional academic fields but also in emerging and creative disciplines such as design, innovation, and technology.
